Fomo Review 2026

Social-first mobile and web trading app for memecoins on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and more, with a feed of what traders you follow are buying, leaderboards, alerts and gasless swaps.

  • Platform: iOS + Android + Web
  • Pricing: ~0.5% fee
  • Networks: 4 networks

Fomo review: quick verdict

Fomo is a social trading app for memecoins on iOS, Android and the web. Instead of a chat bot or a dense terminal, it centres on people: you follow traders, see their buys and sells in a feed, get alerts, and can buy the same token with one tap. It suits traders who prefer a phone app and want to fund with Apple Pay or a card.

Fomo's own security article lists Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, and says gas is sponsored. Its Terms state the wallet is generated and managed by Privy, with the key split so Fomo cannot move funds, and the private key can be exported. Fomo does not publish a fee schedule; third-party guides report about 0.5% per trade with a small minimum. The documentation reviewed does not describe automatic copy trading, a sniper, limit-order automation or a Telegram bot.

Best for

Traders who want a polished phone app, a social feed of what other traders are buying, and Apple Pay funding without touching seed phrases.

Not ideal for

Traders who want automatic copy trading, launch sniping, rule-based automation or a Telegram bot, or who need a published fee schedule before they trade.

What is Fomo?

Fomo is a social trading app for memecoins, built by FOMO Labs and available on iOS, Android and the web. Instead of a chat bot or a dense terminal, it gives you a feed of what the traders you follow are buying, leaderboards and alerts, on top of a self-custodial wallet that hides seed phrases behind Face ID.

The app is organised around people as much as tokens. You follow traders, see their buys and sells in a feed, get push alerts when they trade, and can buy the same token from the feed. Leaderboards rank tokens and traders, a discovery view surfaces trending launches with scam warnings, and token pages consolidate holder data, team details and community links. A desktop web terminal adds charts and watchlists, and Clans provide group feeds. Perps are also available through Hyperliquid outside the United States.

Fomo is multichain and gasless: one account trades on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad, with Ethereum and Robinhood Chain reported by third parties, and Fomo sponsors network gas. Funding works with Apple Pay and cards as well as crypto deposits, and the company states bank withdrawals arrive within a few business days. FOMO Labs, founded in 2025 by former dYdX engineers, raised a Series A led by Benchmark and a Series B led by Index Ventures in June 2026.

Custody is the interesting part. Fomo's Terms say the wallet is generated and managed by Privy; its own security article explains that the private key is split with Shamir secret sharing so that no single party holds enough shares, keys are only reassembled inside trusted execution environments, Face ID is required to open the app, withdraw or export keys, and you can export the private key to any compatible wallet. Fomo does not publish a fee schedule; third-party guides report roughly 0.5% per spot trade with a small minimum.

Fomo features

Each feature below is described in Fomo's official documentation or product pages. Features that could not be verified are left out.

  • Social feed and alerts

Follow traders, see their buys and sells in a feed and receive push notifications when they trade.

  • Leaderboards and discovery

Rank tokens by gains, volume and holders per chain, browse trending launches and see scam warnings on suspicious tokens.

  • Gasless multichain trading

Trade on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad from one balance with network gas sponsored by Fomo.

  • Apple Pay and card funding

Fund the account with Apple Pay or a card in seconds, or deposit crypto; withdraw to a bank or a wallet.

How Fomo works

Fomo is designed to feel like a consumer app rather than a bot.

  1. 1

    Install and sign up

Download Fomo from the App Store or Google Play, or use the web app at fomo.family. Sign up with email or Apple ID; a wallet is created for you without a seed phrase.

  2. 2

    Fund the account

Add money with Apple Pay or a card, or deposit crypto on a supported chain.

  3. 3

    Follow traders

Browse leaderboards and the feed, follow traders whose activity you want to see, and turn on alerts.

  4. 4

    Trade

Buy a token with one tap from its page or straight from a trade in the feed.

  5. 5

    Secure and export

Face ID protects withdrawals and exports. Export the private key if you want to use the wallet in Phantom or another app.

Fomo pricing and fees

Fomo has no subscription and sponsors gas. It does not publish a fee page; its Terms say transaction fees vary by size, token and routing, while third-party guides report about 0.5% per spot trade with a minimum of roughly $0.95 on Solana.

Spot trades

About 0.5% (third-party figure)

Network gas

Sponsored by Fomo

The Terms note that gas may apply on select EVM networks.

Referral discount

Reported 10% off fees

Third-party sources describe a lifetime 10% fee discount for sign-ups with a referral code; not documented on fomo.family.

Liquidity-pool fees and slippage are paid to the market, not to Fomo.

Is Fomo safe?

Fomo's wallet is generated and managed by Privy with the key split by Shamir secret sharing between your device and secure hardware. Fomo states it cannot access, move or freeze your funds, Face ID gates withdrawals and key export, and you can export the key to another wallet.

Custody model
Self-custodial per Fomo: it says it cannot access, move or freeze funds and only you can authorise transactions. The Terms state the wallet is generated and managed by Privy.
Key management
Private key split into shares with Shamir secret sharing; no single party holds enough to reconstruct it, and keys are reassembled only inside trusted execution environments.
Authentication
Email or Apple ID login; Face ID required to open the app, withdraw and export keys.
Key export
Supported. You can export the private key and use the funds in any compatible wallet.
Company
FOMO Labs Inc., New York, founded 2025; venture-backed with a Series B in June 2026.

Verify before depositing

  • You installed the app from the official App Store or Google Play listing or are using fomo.family, not a clone.
  • The email or Apple ID you signed up with has strong, unique credentials and two-factor authentication.
  • You have tested the private-key export flow while the balance is small.

Fomo strengths and considerations

An editorial summary of the sources reviewed. Strengths are advantages supported by documented functionality; considerations are limitations, trade-offs or gaps worth weighing.

Strengths

  • Polished native iOS and Android apps with a social feed and trade alerts
  • Gasless, multichain trading from one balance with Apple Pay and card funding
  • Split-key self-custody with Face ID and private-key export, no seed phrase to manage
  • Well-funded, identified company with published Terms and support
  • Scam warnings and consolidated token research built into token pages

Considerations

  • No published fee schedule; the spot fee and minimum come from third-party sources
  • A fixed minimum fee makes very small trades proportionally expensive
  • No sniper, limit-order automation or Telegram bot documented; less suited to launch trading
  • The Terms restrict several jurisdictions, and some features are unavailable to US users
  • Access depends on your email or Apple ID credentials as well as Face ID

Fomo supported chains

Fomo supports 4 networks: Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad. The sources reviewed do not break down which features are available on each network, so the table confirms support only.

How much does Fomo charge?

Fomo does not publish a fee page. Its Terms say transaction fees vary by size, token and routing. Third-party guides report about 0.5% per spot trade with a minimum of roughly $0.95 on Solana. Gas is sponsored.
