How tools are researched

Every listing is compiled from published sources and follows the same structure, so tools can be compared like for like. We read a product’s documentation, website and official announcements, record what they state, and cite each source on the tool page. Our editor has also used every tool listed. Even so, the facts on each page are taken from published sources rather than from our own use, so that readers can check them.

Which sources we prefer

1. Official documentation
2. The official product website and terms
3. Official company announcements
4. Official social accounts, where an announcement was only made there
5. Reputable third-party coverage, only where primary sources are unavailable

When a listing relies on third-party sources, the page says so in its verification label and quick verdict. Each tool page ends with the full list of sources used.

How pricing is checked

Fees are taken from the product’s own fee page or terms and dated with the day they were checked. The headline fee is shown as published. Cashback, rebates and referral discounts are described separately and never folded into the headline rate. Worked examples appear only where the fee is a simple flat percentage. If a product does not publish its fees, the page says so and labels any third-party figure as reported.

How supported chains are verified

Supported networks are taken from the product’s own chain list, documentation or official announcements, and re-checked when a listing is updated. Chains reported only by third parties are not counted as supported. Reviews confirm that a chain is supported; they do not say which features work on which chain unless the product documents it.

How features are verified

A feature is listed only if the product’s documentation or official pages describe it. Capabilities we could not confirm are shown as “Not documented” rather than as missing, because absence from the documentation is not proof that a feature does not exist.

How security claims are treated

We do not describe any trading product as safe. Security sections report what can be verified: the custody model, wallet infrastructure, whether keys can be exported, login protection, published audits and documented incidents. Statements that come from the vendor are attributed to the vendor.

How past incidents are handled

A documented, material incident is disclosed on the tool’s page with its date and a link to the source. A short note appears near the top of the page and the full context sits in the security section. We use neutral wording, do not speculate beyond the source, and do not add notices for tools without a documented incident.

How screenshots are sourced

Screenshots and videos come from the product’s own documentation, website, app store listing or official channels, or are supplied for the listing. We do not create mock-ups. Each image carries a caption, descriptive alt text and the page it came from.

Rankings

Rankings are editorial. They weigh feature depth, documentation quality, custody model and track record as we understand them from the sources. They are not based on traffic, volume or user counts, and placement is never paid for.

Editor’s pick and opinions

Tool pages carry an editor’s pick note, currently Dawn. It is our editor’s personal opinion about which tool suits most traders, based on ease of use, its single-balance design, fees and speed as the editor rates them. It is labelled as an opinion wherever it appears and is separate from the researched facts on each page, which follow the rules above. The pick is not paid for, and we are not affiliated with Dawn. Rankings remain a separate editorial ordering.

The Platinum Standard badge

Platinum Standard is Memecoin University’s own editorial classification based on the criteria published here. It is not an external certification, an audit or an endorsement of a product’s safety.

There is currently one tier. A listing carries the Platinum Standard badge when it has been through the full research process:

• The product has identifiable official channels, which are listed on its page
• Fees, custody and key features have been checked against the sources, with the check date shown
• Anything that could not be verified is stated as not documented or as reported by third parties
• Known material incidents are disclosed on the page
• Every source used is listed on the page

All 9 tools currently listed meet these criteria. A badge shows that a listing was researched to this standard. It says nothing about whether a product is right for you, and it can be removed if a listing can no longer be verified.

Corrections and updates

Products change their fees, features and terms without notice, so any listing can become outdated. Each tool page shows the date it was last verified. If you maintain a listed product or spot something that is wrong, send the correction with a link to an official source through the submission page. Corrections backed by a primary source are handled first.

Referral links

The “Visit” button and the closing link on a tool page may be a referral link. If you sign up through one, the tool may pay Memecoin University a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases the tool gives referred users a discount or cashback that it sets itself. Every referral link is marked as such on the page. Referral arrangements do not affect what we write, how tools are ranked, or which tool is the editor’s pick: the same research rules apply to every listing, and we do not accept payment for placement.

Independence

Memecoin University is an independent directory and is not affiliated with any tool listed here, Solana Labs or the Solana Foundation. If that ever changes for a specific listing, it will be stated on that listing’s page. Nothing on this site is financial advice.
